Draft Law on Designs

On 1 July 2026, the Council of Ministers submitted to Parliament the Draft Law "On Designs," introducing a standalone legal framework for the protection of industrial designs in Albania.

The proposed legislation reflects the latest EU design reform package and modernizes the existing regime by introducing clearer legal concepts, stronger protection mechanisms, and enhanced legal certainty for businesses and creators.
